MAIN ATTRACTIONS

Vail Village & Lionshead Village are charming places to walk around, shop, look at the stunning architecture, or enjoy a delicious meal. Between Vail Village and Lionshead Village you can find many shops, lodging, restaurants, ice skating rinks, and much more.

SIGNATURE EVENTS

Burton US Open is one of the biggest snowboarding events of the year. Vail Ski Mountain hosts the event and It happens in late February. Burton US Open features some of snowboarding’s best athletes from around the world. Every year, the event includes events in both, slopestyle and halfpipe. US Open also brings an incredible amount of excitement such as free concerts, daily apres specials, fundraisers, and other daily activities for guests of all ages.

Vail America Days is the annual Fourth of July celebration in the magical Vail Village. It is an all-day event that features spectacular fireworks, a patriotic popular town parade and exhibits, and more.

GoPro Games are the country’s largest celebration of adventure sports, art, and music in the mountains. Each year thousands of adventurous athletes sign up to compete in more than 30 different competitions, including kayaking, running, slackline, trail running, mountain and road cycling, and climbing. This event usually happens in June.

Bravo! Vail is an annual classical music festival, it features dozens of performances throughout the Vail Valley, and summer home to the world’s greatest musicians and orchestras. Through extraordinary performances and generous support from the community, Bravo! Vail has grown from a few attendees to of the world’s premier music festivals.

 Vail Farmer’s Market & Art Show is a beautiful setting that takes place in the Vail Village, it offers the finest quality of local fruits, vegetables, and meats. The Farmers’ Market also showcases local artisans selling unique and beautiful work. With more than forty food vendors, every guest can sample the best food and enjoy a delicious brunch and snacks while shopping. This event runs from June through October.

Oktoberfest is when Munich comes to Vail for two weekends full of fun and excitement emulating the world’s greatest celebration of veer, music, and autumn. Oktoberfest is a family affair with events and activities for the whole family. The event is free and open to the public; Oktoberfest usually happens from mid-September through late September.

Vail Dance Festival is a two-week celebration of exceptional artistry that features performance and education elements. The Dance Festival was a product of the extremely successful performances by the Bolshoi Ballet Academy of Moscow during the summer of 1989.
