Favorite Vail Valley Keepsakes

The Vail Valley is a place unlike any other, offering everything from adventure to ultimate relaxation, and helping you make memories that will last a lifetime. What better way to commemorate your time in the Valley than with a keepsake (or a few)? Here’s how you can take Colorado home with you with local products found only in the Vail Valley!

For the Authenticity Lover

To find local crafts, produce, and specialty items visit one of the Valley’s Farmer’s Markets. If you’re visiting the Valley in the Summer or early Fall, get your local goods any day of the weekend at our local markets. On Fridays head to Eagle’s Market, Saturdays visit Minturn and Edwards Markets, and Sundays stop by Vail’s Market.

Consider visiting Knapp Harvest in Eagle to support our local community by purchasing fresh produce or specialty items that are locally grown and made in Colorado.

For the One Who Loves to Buy Local

Bring a Colorado story home with you. Support local authors and illustrators by visiting The Bookworm in Edwards and checking out their collection of books by Colorado and Vail natives. Take a book home to enjoy and share with others to remind yourself of your time spent in the Valley.

Known as the iconic symbol of the Vail Valley, The Golden Bear in Vail Village features handcrafted Valley-made fine jewelry along with branded clothing and giftware. Find something for yourself or a loved one to remind you of your time in the Valley.

For the Memory Maker

Are you traveling with family, friends, or a loved one? What better way to commemorate your time in the Valley than with a portrait. Located in Edwards, Family Heirloom Photography by Olga Barron Photography, Inc. and Two Elk Studios provide studio quality photography on location. The landscape of the Valley is a breathtaking backdrop, no matter what season. Go home with something from Colorado that can last a lifetime.

For the Art Lover

The Vail Valley is home to many amazing art galleries, featuring rare and local pieces of art from paintings to sculptures to photographs. The Gallery Row in Beaver Creek features galleries ranging from fine to rare to local art for you to browse. We recommend visiting the C. Anthony Gallery, Grand Bohemian Art Gallery, Horton Fine Art, Knox Galleries, Paderewski Fine Art, Sportsman’s Gallery, and Tony Newlin Gallery.

For the Spirited

Are you a wine enthusiast or curious about the wine world? Vines at Vail Winery is a mountain winery in Wolcott that specializes in handcrafted, small lot wines from grapes sourced in California and crafted in Colorado. Pick up a bottle of locally-made wine to take home with you, and consider enjoying one of their tasting room experiences with a gorgeous view of the Rocky Mountains.

Vail Brewing Company is the single independent craft brewery in the Valley. Located in Eagle-Vail, they specialize in artisan, hand-crafted ales brewed in small batches. Take home a can (or a few) of a specialty brew to enjoy at home, and to remind you of your time spent in the Valley.

If you’re looking for a classic Vail experience, stop by Beaver Liquors, the #1 Liquor Store in the heart of the Vail Valley located in Avon. Along with a substantial collection of wine and spirits, Beaver Liquors sells specialty foods, t-shirts, baseball caps, and more.

Whether this was your first time visiting, or your fifteenth, there’s always something to take home to remind you of all that the Valley has to offer.
