Nottingham Lake & Beach

You have to experience the epic views of the Vail Valley from peaceful Nottingham Lake, which is located in Avon, Colorado. Rent a paddleboat or a standup paddleboard and explore the relaxing waters of the lake. You can also enjoy kayaking, boating, fishing, or simply soak in some Colorado sunshine on the sandy beach. The park also has running and walking paths, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts, a playground, and grills around the park to enjoy a cookout.

Nottingham Park is an extraordinary destination that features free and exciting concerts and events. The park is also home to one of the best Fourth of July fireworks shows in Colorado. At Nottingham Park, there is something for everyone.


Sylvan Lake State Park 

Nestled in the heart of the Rockies, Sylvan Lake State Park is surrounded by gorgeous scenery and the White River National Forest. It is conveniently located approximately ten miles southwest of Eagle and is the perfect setting for motorboating, fishing, hiking, picnicking, kayaking, and camping. There are 44 campsites, nine cabins, and three yurts available to reserve for overnight stays. You can also enjoy the seven miles of state park trails and convenient access to the national forest.

 Turtle Tubing & Turtle Bus

Summer is the perfect time to take a scenic float in the Vail Valley. Experience nature’s water park this summer with Turtle Tubing, which offers mellow trips on the Colorado river for kids, adults, and groups. Tubing season typically begins in June and lasts through August, allowing. you to relax and booze cruise. Stop at the beach along the river to picnic, play bocce ball, and tan.
