Scenic Chairlift Rides

Enjoy the scenery in Vail & Beaver Creek by taking a ride on the Eagle-Bahn Gondola or the Centennial Chairlift in the summer months. The lifts provide access to Vail's Adventure Ridge or Beaver Creek's Spruce Saddle, each home to a variety of summer activities including disc golf and more.

Summer 2012 Beaver Creek:

Daily scenic lift rides on the Centennial Express Chairlift (No. 6) will take place June 11, 2012 through September 5, 2012 from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, weather permitting.

Lift tickets are required to ride the chairlift during the summer and up to three kids under 12 years and under ride for free with a paying adult. 2011-2012 season pass holders receive unlimited, free scenic access to the Centennial Express Lift.

At the top of the Centennial Express Lift, Spruce Saddle Restaurant features spectacular views while serving up delicious fare between 11 am and 2:30 pm. Purchase a combined lift and lunch package for $29 and receive a $15 voucher valid towards lunch at Spruce Saddle.

    To purchase gondola tickets or for information about activities on Vail Mountain, stop in the Summer Ticket Office across from the Eagle Bahn Gondola.

    Ticket office opens daily, 30 minutes prior to the gondola:
    Sunday - Wednesday, 9:30 am - 6 pm
    Thursday - Saturday, 9:30 am - 9 pm

    Gondola Hours:
  • June 8-10: Friday through Sunday only, 10 am - 6 pm
  • June 15-September 3: Sunday through Wednesday, 10 am - 6 pm and Thursday - Saturday, 10 am - 9 pm
  • September 7-23 Weekends: Friday through Sunday only, 10 am - 6 pm.
    • Note: Bikes are not allowed up the gondola after 6 pm.

  • 1 Day Lift Ticket: (12 and Under): $5, (Adult): $25, (Senior): $20
  • 1 Day Lift Ticket & Bike Haul: (12 and Under): $10, (Adult): $30, (Senior): $25
  • 1 Day Lift Ticket & Mountain Voucher: (12 & Under): $15, (Adult): $30, (Senior): $25
